In this Keynote Address, named The Angolan Electoral Census – a biometric paperless solution, Luis Amorim will present the experience of SINFIC providing security soluctions in Africa, namely in Angola.
Major Miguel Pimenta
Major José Miguel Andrade Seabra Peralta Pimenta joined the Military Academy 1988, having graduated in Military Sciences, Cavalry Course in 1993. In his academic background, he has the advanced Cavalry Course, Senior Officer Promotion Course from the Army Staff College. He has also the Guerrilla Warfare Course, Civil-Military Cooperation Course, Military Police Course, Armour Basic Officers Course and other military and civilian courses.
From 2000 to 2001 performed a duty tour in a United Nations Mission in East Timor, working as Staff Officer to Chief of Staff – Peacekeeping Force.
In 2008 was named as Deputy Commander of Task Force MIKE in order to deploy into KOSOVO.
From 2008 to 2009 performed a duty tour in Kosovo as KTM (Kosovo Tactical Manoeuvre Battalion) deputy Commander.
Currently is the G3 OPS Chief of the 6th Cavalry Regiment – Braga – Portugal.
